NUMA: How did you become a model?
TIJANA: Coming out of high school, one of my friends told me to go audition for this Model Search competition where the winner gets to go to China. So I went to the audition, got chosen to compete and didn’t win. But that’s okay, because I met so many awesome people and models, an agent and still went to China – so everything sort of worked out!
NUMA: Where is your favorite shooting location?
TIJANA: I would have to say either in a empty studio with a plain black & white background, or in an old building that has perfect imperfections for that perfect shot!
NUMA: What other opportunities has modelling given you?
Traveling – obviously! As well as meeting people that you have so much in common with.
TIJANA; What is something that no one know about you?
I don’t think anyone really knows how much I genuinely love to dance and model. When I was younger I was very shy around strangers, but at home I was always, always dancing, taking pictures and dressing up. Today, I’m not as shy as I was before but I do still have some insecurities to work on as sometimes it stops me from doing what I love and want to do.
NUMA: What is one thing you really like about yourself?
TIJANA: I like my quirkiness. I like how I randomly stick my finger in my boyfriends ear and tickle him or when there is plenty of room on the couch but I choose to lay on top of my friends instead. I don’t think you should always be so serious in life. Just have fun. Laughter and love is the best medicine.
NUMA: What is your favorite piece of art?
TIJANA: I would have to say Café Terrace At Night by Vincent Van Gogh. I love the warmth that is felt just by looking at the picture. And it just looks like my “picture perfect” kind of night; a warm summer night in a little village in France, having coffee/tea and crepes with my boyfriend and/or friends.
